The Great Dance

Day after day they traveled. From all parts of the Earth they came. Even some special groups from another galaxy. Their destination…a very secluded and carefully shielded location in the mountains and forests of northwest Arkansas.

It may have been the biggest gathering of the “Wee People” in the known history of this planet. Thousands of them were in attendance.

As the time for the great celebration of the Winter Solstice drew near they all converged on the huge ring in the forest and began their dance. It continued for several hours as they slowly raised a special energy.

When the energy reached its peak all the participants, in unison, made a series of intricate gestures which directed the energy deep into Mother Earth.

Having accomplished their task the “Wee People” dispersed and within less than a minute not a one was anywhere to be seen.

Seeing Sound And Hearing Light

A Scenic Overlook

A majestic mountain stands before you and from its upper reaches cascades a brilliant waterfall. It appears unearthly…which of course it is.

As it reaches the bottom and flows through the valley the water appears to be filled with constantly changing rays of color. It seems to be alive and pulsating with energy.

This is the River of Life…an endless stream filled with the essence of God’s love. If you stand in the middle of it you quickly realize it’s not water. It’s the visible life force that flows directly from God. It doesn’t flow around you but through you. There is a sound that is part of it and you can actually see the tone it’s making. You also hear the divine light as it fills you with its joy. You’ll feel yourself becoming as bright as the noonday sun.

You’ll return from this experience a changed person forever for you will have been baptized in the Light and Love of God.

There seems to be a misconception about God and the ETs. I hear and read from some groups that ETs are demonic and satan is their god. This simply is not true. The Creator of mankind on Earth is the source of all life in all the multiverses. It makes no difference whether a being is from Earth, Andromeda, Arcturus, Orion, or any other star system their life stream ultimately originates from the same God. This makes us all part of the same family, no matter how far removed it may seem to get.

I don’t know why this continues to be such a huge sticking point for some people. It should be an honor to know what an enormous, wide ranging, multidimensional family we, on our little planet, are a part of.

The attitude of superiority that is so prevalent amongst so many of us is one of the principal barriers to our evolving to something far beyond our current existence. We can be so much more but first we must get past our overblown sense of self importance.

More than we can possibly imagine the ETs want this to happen. They want to connect with us as spiritual brothers and sisters. Until we decide to awaken and grow up, however, there is little they can do but wait.

Holy Laughter

Vince mentioned something about a weird sense of humor. I can certainly identify with that. I can see and have seen uproariously funny things happen in every realm and dimension I’ve visited. I consider this a joy…a true gift of the spirit.

It really began to manifest in intensity after I was Baptized In The Holy Ghost years ago. That, in itself, was an experience I have never forgotten nor am I likely to. A totally unique and life changing moment.

Anyway, not long after that time I began to notice my way of looking at the world and even all of creation shifted. I was renewed. Gone was the mostly serious person I had always been. I now saw things through joy filled eyes.

Since that change I smile most of the time and I laugh a lot. Occasionally, seemingly out of nowhere, the power of the spirit will come upon me and I’ll practically collapse in fits of laughter. My wife can see it coming before I realize it’s about to happen. She says she can see it in my eyes. It can and does happen anywhere and anytime. And it’s infectious. I’ve seen a whole restaurant full of people consumed with gales of mirth and no one knew why, including the person who started it…me.

This is called by some Holy Laughter. That’s a good description since such activity can do wonders in lifting people out of the doldrums. We could all benefit from more laughter so give it a try. You might even discover your health improving.

A Mystic?

There have been a lot of mystical, mysterious things I have experienced in my lifetime. Sometimes, weird stuff happens around me. One of the past nicknames I acquired was “Old Weird Louie.” I wasn’t offended. How could I be since it was true.

Over the past several years a number of folks have started referring to me as a mystic. Am I? Well, I don’t really think so. I don’t really think I’m very different from anyone else. I have a body, soul, and spirit as do we all. I just use what I have in a more complete way than many others. We’re all born with a natural inclination to look beyond the standard physical realm but that ability generally gets quashed early on by the adults around us. Fortunately, I escaped that fate.

I believe the day is not too far off when the word “mystic” will be applied only to those few who don’t see into the spirit realm. Until then, Old Weird Louie will keep on pointing out the strangeness of this existence.

Importance Of Solitude

Why is solitude so important? What’s so great about it? Is it really necessary? The answers to all three of these questions are wrapped up in one word.

GOD.

Connecting with God is of primary importance. That’s why I’m on this path. To be sure I can experience God while I’m in a group of people. It happens in Church. He also manifests His presence at the grocery store and even when I’m eating breakfast in a casino.  God can and often does show up in some rather surprising places.

Ah, but when I am alone and all is quiet. that’s when I really connect with the Father in a close and personal way. That’s when I feel His never ending love. No matter what I’ve done or how badly I’ve failed God loves me. In the silence I hear Him talk to me. Often I feel His presence so strongly I can hardly stand. During those beautiful moments, I concentrate on opening up completely to His will.

And this is but a slight glimpse at why I embrace solitude.

It seems the vast majority of humanity goes all out to generate as much noise as possible. Cars with loud or no mufflers and absolutely pointless music played at top volume. Cell phones constantly ringing and people babbling on them endlessly…and saying nothing. When a call of nature becomes necessary they even use their cell phone while they use the bathroom. How pathetic! At Mass one Sunday, the man sitting next to me missed Holy Communion because he chose to go outside and talk on his phone rather than turn it off while he was in church. Again…how pathetic!

I think most people don’t know what solitude is. Therefore they certainly don’t realize what treasures await in that great aloneness. The very thought of silence seems to elude them…or frighten them. It’s like they can’t stand to be alone with their thoughts.

But, I tell you this in all honesty…solitude is one of the most important gifts you can give to yourself. In a later post I’ll talk more about this but for now I would suggest making some special time to be by yourself and begin getting accustomed to the sound of silence.

Phantom Places

Over the years my wife and I have done a lot of traveling by car. In the western states, especially California and Oregon, we have experienced countless anomalies, phantom places, and roads that weren’t there.

We once spent a very restful night at a motel in a tiny fishing village at the end of a fog shrouded road. We’ve never been able to locate the spot since. Not on a map nor when we returned to the area. At the place where we turned off the main road that night there is no road to turn on to.

On a trip to the mountains late one night we followed the signs that led us over a narrow, twisty one lane road that finally ended at the small town which was our destination. The next day we decided to drive back down it to see what kind of scenery we had missed the previous night. We followed the same signs but the road was completely different…two-lane, paved, with guard rails and occasional turn-outs. We never found the road we were on the night before.

There have been many others. I just thought it would be fun to share a couple of them for a change of pace. If you listened closely you could probably hear the Twilight Zone theme as you read this post.

My Teacher

I think now would be a good time to talk a little about my teacher. Actually I have countless teachers, for each and every person I come in contact with has something to teach me if I’ll only pay attention. Same with encounters with the animal, plant, and mineral kingdoms. I learn from them all.

Then, of course, there is my Spirit Guide. He appears to me as a Native American and has been with me for more years than I can recall. From him I have learned amazing things about my connections to the cosmos along with the purpose for my being on this planet at this time.

I do have one principal teacher though. One who fills me not only with spiritual knowledge but also with the Holy Ghost. He is a member of the Ascended Host and one of the greatest spiritual masters ever to exist.

I am, of course,  referring to Jesus but most certainly not the idolized version presented by the Christian religion. The “real” Jesus is much more than most people realize and what he actually taught puts the church version deep in the shade.

He is a loving teacher with a spontaneous sense of humor yet he can be a tough taskmaster. He will spend an enormous amount of time explaining spiritual concepts but he expects me to pay attention and to put his teachings into practice and to pass them along to others.

All of what I share here is based on the true teachings of Jesus…not the twisted, watered-down version so prevalent in today’s world.

By the way,,,he doesn’t answer to the name “Sananda.”

Physical Worlds

A Scenic Overlook

Leaning back against the smooth boulder I am surprised at how comfortable it is. I never thought hard rock could feel soft. I notice a warmth radiating from it that nicely overcomes the chill of the early evening.

As I close my eyes and breathe in the sweet air of the mountains I hear the faint sounds of nature. Wind whispers as it blows through the nearby evergreens. Aspen leaves rustle. Somewhere far below water chuckles as it flows along.

Slowly opening my eyes I behold the grandeur of God’s creation. Majestic snow capped mountains rising up into a sunset-colored sky of brilliant oranges and reds. Dark green forests flanking the lower slopes and filling the valley below.

As the sunset quickly makes room for the evening sky and the first star appears I close my eyes and meditate on all that God has done. I recall the perfection of  His wondrous works.

After awhile a voice whispers, “Look! Look at what else God has done.”

I open my eyes to a vast panorama of stars. They are so bright and clear I feel as if I could reach out and touch them. They twinkle and fluctuate with colors.

Selectively focusing I stretch my vision far into the night sky. I see things that are incredible distances away, yet I realize I am only seeing the physical beginning of “forever.” The path has only just begun.

And the voice whispers again, “We are all one.”
